"Mommy, I Don't Want to Go Poop...."

You may be wondering a little about how why I decided to create this course....

Let me tell you a quick story about my child....who developed constipation and stool holding at an early age.

At the time, I asked my friends and other moms...and then the pediatrician...

They all said the same thing...to just give it time, that she was too young and would do it on her own time....

But the constipation and stool holding became worse and more painful to where she would not use the bathroom at all....

She eventually became incontinent during the day because of how constipated she was.

At that point, treating the constipation was near impossible because the fear and anxiety had become so overwhelming....

While we treated the constipation with medication, it did not address the underlying cause.

And so the fear cycle and constipation continued....

As I learned more about the vagus nerve, emotional memories, and trauma,

I learned how constipation and pain can be a traumatic event for a child...

I had to help her to reprocess those memories so that toileting was not such a traumatic event.

And so I decided to teach other families who were going through the same thing so that their children did not have to suffer with chronic constipation and the fear and anxiety surrounding pooping in the toilet....

And so this course was created!

And that's why I'm so passionate about our Online Course "What to Do When Your Kid Won't Poop"

So your child can poop anxiety-free as well!

I invite you to join us now.

Medications may be treating the symptom, not the cause...

Medication, laxatives, and diet changes can help with making poop softer and easier to pass.  However, the next step is to address the underlying cause in order to stop the constipation and stool holding cycle...

FAQs

If you have tried medication, laxatives, and other bowel clean out programs and are still struggling, the root cause of chronic constipation may still be an issue...

Behavior strategies and rewards will not work if there is persistent fear, anxiety related to using the bathroom.  While medications may be necessary to soften the stool, the underlying issues may need to be addressed for your child to successfully use the toilet without fear.
